In Regency England, a young widow takes commissions the magistrates cannot. Tonight there is a ball, a study, and a rooftop. Tonight there is work to be done.
Darling is a short narrative stealth game in three acts. You will be invited into gilded rooms. You will be handed a dossier. You will choose your weapon — a poison ring, a silk scarf, a champagne flute pressed into the wrong hand — and you will leave before the body is found.
She is not the woman behind the man.
She is the Main Character.
The Marks

- Lord Cassius Ashworth — a mill-owner whose ledgers cost more lives than he can count.
- Magistrate Edmund Crale — a justice whose verdicts have always favoured the right surnames.
- Sir Reginald Thorne — a gentleman whose charm has outlived too many of the women drawn into it.
A client has paid. A widow has accepted. Read the brief. Pick the tool. Walk into the room.
